01 · Import

Bring your whole songbook across.

Drop in files from Songbook Pro, OnSong, ChordPro and plain text. Songbook Master rebuilds each one as a clean, native chord sheet, sections, structure and chords exactly where they belong, the way you wrote them.

  • OpenEvery format. Songbook Pro, OnSong, ChordPro and plain text, all welcome.
  • FreeOn-device parsing. Rule-based, instant and private, no account required.
  • KeepNothing lost. Original chord positions, keys and formatting stay intact.
02 · AI ConversionPro

Turn any PDF into a song you can actually edit.

Point AI conversion at a PDF chart and it rebuilds the whole thing as a native, fully editable song. Change the lyrics, chords, key and tempo freely, while every chord stays sitting exactly where it sat on the page.

LyricsChordsKeyTempoStructure
  • EditFully editable result. Not a flat image, a real chart you can rewrite line by line.
  • TrueChords stay put. Positions are preserved the way the PDF laid them out.
  • Pro20 conversions a month. Included with Songbook Master Pro.

AI conversion is remarkably accurate, but results can drift a little depending on a PDF's layout and the song itself, a quick pass after importing sets it right.

03 · Setlists

Build the set. Run the night.

Order songs for the gig, date the set, and play straight through. A live transport bar keeps the running order, the up-next song and its key one glance away, so the only thing between you and the next number is a tap.

  • FlowUp-next at a glance. Title, key and position in the set, always visible.
  • KeysPer-song transpose. Each song remembers the key you actually play it in.
  • DatesSets for every night. Weddings, worship, open mics, all kept and dated.
04 · Stage Mode

Lyrics big enough to read across the room.

Tap into Stage Mode and the chart becomes a performance view, with oversized lyrics, chords riding above the words, and a quiet control dock for transpose, font size and hands-free auto-scroll. Built for the half-second glance mid-song.

  • ReadAcross-the-room type. Scales up without losing chord alignment.
  • MoveAuto-scroll. Set the pace once and keep both hands on the instrument.
  • ShiftTranspose live. Change key on the fly, colour-coded so it reads instantly.
05 · Library

A place for every song.

Your whole repertoire in one calm list, sorted by title, artist or date, filtered by collection, and searchable in a keystroke. Group songs into folders for worship, weddings, originals or any room you play.

  • SortYour way. Title, artist or date, with colour-coded keys at a glance.
  • FindInstant search. Across songs, folders and setlists.
  • GroupCollections. Folders for every band, season and venue.

Questions

The things players ask first.

What can I import?

Files from Songbook Pro, OnSong, ChordPro and plain text drop straight in, and you can convert PDF charts too. Songbook Master rebuilds each one as a clean, native chord sheet — sections, structure, keys and chord positions kept exactly where you put them. Importing your existing formats is parsed on-device, so it's instant and needs no account.

How accurate is AI PDF conversion?

Very, with two engines to choose from. Cloud conversion is powered by Google's Gemini model for the highest accuracy, and there's a faster on-device conversion that's a little less precise but works without sending the file anywhere. Either way the result is a fully editable song with chords kept where they sat on the page. Unusual layouts can drift slightly, so a quick pass after importing sets it right.

Is it free, and what does Pro add?

Songbook Master is free to start, including on-device PDF conversion. Songbook Master Pro is a subscription that adds the higher-accuracy Gemini cloud conversion (20 a month), unlimited folders and setlists, and iCloud sync across your devices. Current pricing is shown on the App Store.

Does my library sync across iPad and iPhone?

Yes, with Songbook Master Pro. iCloud sync keeps your songs, folders and setlists — and every edit — in step across every device signed in to your Apple account, so you can build a set on iPad at home and run it from your iPhone on stage.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Your whole library lives on the device, so imports, setlists, Stage Mode, transpose, font scaling and auto-scroll all work with no signal at the venue. The only feature that needs a connection is Gemini cloud conversion — on-device conversion runs offline.

What devices and iOS version do I need?

Songbook Master runs on iPad and iPhone with iPadOS / iOS 17 or later. Stage Mode is built for the larger iPad canvas, but the full library, setlists and performance view all work on iPhone too.
